-January 2008, Wade Gienow is featured as part of BC Outdoors fishing article.

-October 24 2007, Wade Gienow's client caught the largest Sturgeon to be tagged as part of the Sturgeon Society tagging conservation program. This fish measured 11"4' from nose to fork of it's tail and weighed approximately 1000lbs.

-December 26, 2006. Wade Gienow wins the Vedder Boxing Day Tournament! See article from Fishing with Rod:

-December 26 2007, Wade Gienow wins the Vedder Boxing Day Tournament for the second year in a row! Wade was the first person to do this since 1957. Only two other times has someone won the tournament two consecutive years, 1948-49 Sid Ives, and 1956-57 Chris Kasa.
